Hi! My name is Lauren, I love to bake and I am the Owner of May Sweets! ​

May Sweets started off as a hobby and a way to bond with my oldest daughter. 

After having friends and family not only try the new desserts I made, but for them to thoroughly enjoy each and every bite, I realized the sense of satisfaction I felt was due to the fact that while food in general can be comforting to all of us, food made with love is joyful. 

My oldest daughter and I not only share the same birthday in May, we also share a joy in baking. When I realized this hobby could be turned into a viable business, it was fate to have the baking business named May Sweets. I, now, have two daughters who I get to share this joy with. They thoroughly enjoy helping me create custom desserts for our family and close friends while I handle the customers!
